A heavy hitter with strong jiu-jitsu and great wrestling, Kurt "The Hurt" Southern isn't your average "ground and pound" fighter. Driving opponents to the mat with powerful takedowns, "The Hurt" overwhelms his adversary's with punches from the top position before searching for a finishing hold. In his Raw Combat debut, Southern defeated the highly-touted Charlie Zac by verbal tap out when Zac requested that the referee stop the match following a series of brutal forearm strikes to the face.
