Juan Barrantes

Since making his MMA debut in 2006, Barrantes has become a fan favorite with his never say die attitude in the cage. Starting his career with a five-fight unbeaten streak, the featherweight from Costa Rica showed the world his considerable skills. Although his last match ended with a unanimous decision loss to Bibiano Fernandes, Barrantes was in the fight for the entire 15-minutes. Cut badly in the opening moments, his incredible heart and determination gave him the ability to hang with the more seasoned grappler and impress fight fans in attendance.
