Born in Brazil, Carlo Prater moved to the United States as a child then back to his home country as a teenager. Since then, he has studied almost every martial art imaginable, from judo to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Luta Livre, freestyle wrestling, kickboxing and boxing. Having travelled the world to study combat sports, Prater is one of the most well-rounded mixed martial arts fighters on Earth. In June, he defeated Garrett Davis by unanimous decision in a fight that saw the Vancouver, B.C. fighter badly rocked several times by Prater's dangerous striking combinations.
